The centerpieces were absolutely unreal, and I cant believe how everything came together in such a show-stopping way.

I can’t wait to see the photos from Melissa – thanks for your patience in working with us. Also, you should know that your biggest fan was your biggest (early on) critic ??. My dad was AMAZED at what “just some linens” and florals can do to absolutely transform a space. Although he was initially leery of the pricing, he said something to the effect of “you’d think it would be more expensive!!!” once the end product was revealed. 

Thanks again for everything. I’ll recommend you to friends again and again!!! I’ll keep your products in mind for any future (smaller scale) events we may have.

The linens, the gold chairs, the centerpiece candelabras and wire structures (those were hard to envision, but they were huge “wows” - thanks to you and Steven)…everything was perfect and beautiful. You have impeccable taste, and were so thorough and helpful. It was a pleasure getting to know you and work together, and I will look forward to connecting on future parties we have. Also…nice touch when you sent Stacey the linen samples and put an orange one in for Danny with the “just kidding” on the back. You got his hopes up for a moment!!! 

So by now you know what a dream team we had! I hope you all get referrals from local friends who were there as well as from one another if you didn’t already know of each other. People ask if I’m sad it’s all over but I’m truly not. I am so happy that everything was truly so dreamy! And most importantly, that Stacey and Danny are so happy and are starting their life together as a married couple, in their new Upper West Side digs!

Hi Russ, 

Oh my gosh!  Thank you and the L.E. team for making the I.C.C. ballroom looks so spectacular Saturday night!  Paige and I are pretty good imagining what something will look like but you exceed our imaginations and created the look we wanted.  We heard several rave reviews from our guests.  And one of the servers at I.C.C. told me during the “first look” that she has worked over 500 weddings and this design was in her top five!  You did it all and we were/are thrilled.  The pictures don’t quite do it justice but is is all we have now.    

One last note, we were surprised to find that another event at ICC that day had hired a bagpiper to play on the 18th hole.  I walked on the deck for a moment before dinner to view the moon and heard the bagpipes being played.  A guest at the wedding asked him to play for us once he finished his task on the 18th green.  He arrived right after the salad and before dinner was served and played beautifully.  I forgot to mention we are half Scot, my siblings and I were overjoyed.

Lastly, my husband told me after the wedding that prior to the wedding he wasn't thrilled with us not using the Lafayette linens (he is a CPA!) LOL
He then said that there was no doubt we made the right choice, he loved how it looked and it never could have looked that beautiful if hadn't used Linen Effects!! I then told him we owed it all to you, Russ.

Dear Sofitel Staff,

All of us with the Bechtel Social Club wish to express our gratitude in how things were prepared and presented at our January 14, 2012 Holiday Party.

A special thank you to Wendy for being so attentive and overseeing. Everything from start to finish was perfect.

Unfortunately, we do not remember all the names of those that assisted us but all were very professional. The hospitality and service that was provided by all of you was superb. Holly was very attentive to our needs, no matter what it was she was there in an instant and had everything taken care of.

The bartenders and the wait staff were both efficient and friendly. I know our group can drink just a little and spend significant time hanging out at the bar. Even with that, the staff was always on top of their game and had a kind word to share.

Linen Effects did a beautiful job setting up the dining area with the linens and flowers. When we weren’t sure of how things would look, Robin reassured us it would be perfect and it was just lovely.

Thank you, Swank Audio and Visual for the lovely music during our social hour. Mina and Colin were both very accommodating
Also, the rooms that were reserved for the evening were very relaxing and stylish.

Our overall experience with everyone and everything was fantastic. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Dear Russ,

Sorry for typing this note, but I have a lot to say and typing goes a ton faster then my handwriting and the massive carpal tunnel syndrome. As always..... THANK YOU for everything!! The boys were amazed and we out did ourselves and exceeded their expectations. Melrose is never going to forget this one. Phillip gave me a not so nice scare. He came down when I was setting up and said, "This is the linen that LE sent? It's not what we picked." Followed by a huge burst of laughter. Totally freaked me out and my heart stopped for at least 4 minutes. Good thing he revived me with a huge hug and smile. OMG!

Can't wait to get all the photos and submit this one to MN Bride. Though MN is behind on equal rights marriage... I want all of MN to know that two same sex people can enjoy a celebration and expose it to family and friends, just as everyone else. Keep your fingers crossed.

Looking forward to the rest of our events this year and into next year!! I can't tell you, how much I enjoy working with you -- just so easy and I know I can always count on you and the rest of the LE crew for the non-stop wonderful service.

You should have come for a drink on the terrace!! Weather held out so we were so pleased that even during the cocktail hour the sun came out. The room was gorgeous! So was the bride if I don’t say so myself J I have pictures on my face book if you want to be friends with me!! Julia took pictures of the table but, the head table is missing the bridesmaids flowers so it doesn’t do justice. The linens were just beautiful ! The Luge tablelinens was really cool as well as the sparkly head table. I won’t have professional shots for about 4 weeks. Can’t wait! The flowers were to die for! We had sooooo much fun though out this experience. I’m so blessed to have two daughters so I get to do it again!! Hopefully in the near future. Tim put a video together from his I Phone pictures, too. It’s on face book too. I will defiantly send you pictures. I can’t tell you how beautiful it was. We got lots of complements. Huge party we danced all night!!!

Hi Robin, All I can say is the linens were fabulous, really making the decor. I received so many compliments on them, told everyone where they came from, and Betsy was thrilled and so was I. The tent was beautiful with them, and when I got up on the stage to welcome everyone and toast the bride and groom, I was blown away at how pretty the tables were.

The wedding was a big success in spite of the rain, The ceremony, tents, food, flowers, and band were GREAT, and I think everyone had a fun time. When the photos arrive, I will send you some. I think it was the prettiest wedding around!!!!

Thank YOU and YOUR STAFF very very much. The room was amazing! I'm so glad you and Julie assured me that the tall decorations would be spectacular. I don't have a vision for that sort of thing.
Bob was very pleased with everything. Earle Brown staff told both of us that this is the best decorated room they have ever seen, even better than all the weddings they have had there over the years! They were even impressed.
Is the last invoice you sent the final complete invoice? I'd like to get payments all wrapped up this week if at all possible.
