Who we are…
Linen Effects is one of the most well-known and respected event and wedding decor rental companies in the Twin Cities — and has been for over 30 years. We are constantly bringing in new, design-forward products that draw in Event Planners & Designers as well as clients that are looking for inspired, unique concepts that they can use for the weddings, corporate events, galas, mitzvahs or personal celebrations.
What we do…
beyond wedding decor rental
First and foremost, we provide event décor and wedding decor rental products for your events. We work directly with clients and also love working with Planners, Designers and Venues for all of their rental needs. You may have a simple order for a small event, you may need large-scale design services or your event may fall somewhere in-between and we can customize orders to your needs.
As an Event Design House, we also offer full Event Design Services that allow you to have a cohesive design – from décor, flowers, overhead installations, lighting, backdrops, stationary, etc. – all coordinated through us so you are able to enjoy the planning process and have a cutting edge design for your event. We do not produce each element in house but rather have built relationships with experts in their individual fields that allow us to cultivate truly personalized events. We match clients up with the vendors that most fit their style and needs, add in our beautiful décor, coordinate and produce the events and you end up with an event that people are still talking about years later.
The History…
Don Jensen began the company in 1990 because he was trying to create “the perfect look” for his client’s event but event rentals were limited in the Twin Cities. He founded Linen Effects with the belief that
—every event should be spectacular and created a company that did just that.
In 2022, Don sold the company to Jenna & Justin Culley because Jenna was a longtime client and friend who he believed could carry on this legacy. Jenna has owned an award-winning Event Planning company, Jenna Culley Events, since 2012 and worked with Linen Effects for years as her main décor and rental company. Jenna’s focus on design with her planning clients made her a natural fit and Justin and Jenna’s focus on innovation brought around the concept of forming Linen Effects into a full-scale Event Design House in 2023.
The People…
Linen Effects would not be what it is without the amazing people that create this magic every day. We have a group of loyal, creative, hard-working employees that love what they do and take on the Linen Effects name with pride. You may meet some of them throughout your experience with us and others are behind the scenes but know we have the best of the best and each one wants to ensure your event is perfect. Just ask them and they will tell you more than you need to know about cutting-edge napkin folds, directions of linen seams, proper place settings or the current trends and they’ll do it all in an excited manner normally reserved for talking about your favorite T.V. show.
