The Story of Linen Effects

 

In 1990, Don Jensen was trying to create “the perfect look” for his client’s event.  Try as he might, there were no black table skirts or colored table linens for rent in the Twin Cities area.  Linen Effects was founded on the belief that every event should be spectacular. 
 
Since then, Linen Effects has grown steadily to be the Twin Cities premier vendor for table top decor, table linens, and chair covers.  Leading hotels, event venues, professional event planners, and country clubs in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area use Linen Effects when they desire a superior product, excellent service and a most extraordinary event.
 
Remember, when you use Linen Effects, only the bride was more beautifully dressed.

Russ is a principal event design consultant at Linen Effects.  Russ has been planning weddings and events at Linen Effects for 15 years. Prior to Linen Effects, Russ was a Sales and Catering Manager at the Marriott City Center Hotel, Minneapolis.

Emily Johnson Sales

Emily Johnson Sales

Emily is a principal design consultant and Linen Effects. Emily is also the assistant to our owner, Don. She is heavily involved with keeping the Linen Effects website up to date, managing our social media accounts, and also works with various other on-line marketing projects. Emily has been with Linen Effects for 4 years.  She was previously our receptionist.

Don Jensen President and Owner

Don is primarily responsible for the sales department and setting the style and image for the company.  Don also is heavily involved with some of our larger complicated events.

Stephanie Fraser Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator

Stephanie Fraser Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator

Stephanie wears many hats at Linen Effects.  She is primarily responsible for coordinating labor and other assets needed for events that require set up.  She is also the owner's administrative assistant especially for purchasing new inventory.  Stephanie also handles many sales calls and specializes in those that need to be shipped.  Stephanie has been with Linen Effects for 13 years.

Robin Rosenberg Outside Sale Rep

Robin Rosenberg Outside Sale Rep

Robin is responsible for introducing Linen Effects to industry professionals including venues, professional event planners, caterers, etc.   Robin takes the lead in planning our shows and tastings and other events that help to promote Linen Effects.  Robin has been at Linen Effects for 16 years.

Kurt Silton General Manager

Kurt is responsible for Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Operations at Linen Effects.   Kurt has been at Linen Effects for 15 years.   Previously, Kurt worked in corporate food service for Taher Inc. and Marriott Corp.

Nicole Hostulter Receptionist

Nicole is typically the first person you see when you come to Linen Effects. She schedules appointments, directs phone calls, and also maintains our showrooms.

Mark Hillyer Warehouse Manager

Mark Hillyer Warehouse Manager

Mark is in charge of warehouse operations at Linen Effects.  His reponsibilites include order preperation, delivery and pickup dispatch, check-in process, and quality control.   Clients may come into contact with Mark when they pick up and return products and when there is an issue with product returns.  Mark has been with Linen Effects for 9 years.

Melissa pretty much touches every single order at Linen Effects.  She puts together orders and gets them ready for delivery or pick-up, loads and unloads trucks, and checks products in.  When customer comes to the Linen Effects warehouse to pick up or return an order, they probably will meet Melissa.

Taylor pretty much touches every single order at Linen Effects.  She puts together orders and gets them ready for delivery or pick-up, loads and unloads trucks, and checks products in.  When customer comes to the Linen Effects warehouse to pick up or return an order, they probably will meet Taylor.

Mike Hill Delivery Driver

Mike knows where the loading dock is for every hotel and event venue in the twin cities as he has probably been there.  He is an all around good guy and has been on the Linen Effects team for 15 years.

Ray is the newest addition to the Linen Effects operations team.   Ray assists with delivery and many other warehouse operations.
